This privacy notice applies to personal data Bambino Labs Ltd collects about you when you download, install, register with, access, or use the Bambino App (the "App") and explains how we use your information.
This App is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
We are Bambino Labs Ltd. We are a controller and are responsible for your personal data. Throughout this privacy notice, "we", "us" or "our" refers to Bambino Labs Ltd.
If you have any questions about this privacy notice or our privacy practices, you can contact us at: Bambino Labs Ltd, Chapelton, Udny, Ellon, Scotland, AB41 6PX or by email at hello@bambino.so.
We keep our privacy notice under regular review. It may change and, if it does, those changes will be posted on this page and notified to you when you next start the App or log onto your account. You may be required to read and acknowledge the changes to continue your use of the App.
It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during our relationship with you.
Our App may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of third parties. Please note that these websites (and any services accessible, or goods purchasable, through them) are controlled by those third parties and are not covered by this privacy notice. You should review their own privacy notices to understand how they use your personal data before you submit any personal data to these websites or use these services.
We collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you, for example when you register with us, and through your interactions with us.
The types of information we collect are:
We do not intentionally collect any special categories of personal data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data).
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing or profiling that produce legal effects concerning you.
We will only use your personal data when we have a lawful basis to do so. Most commonly we will use your personal data under the following bases: Consent, Performance of a contract, Legitimate interests, Recognised legitimate interests, and Legal obligation.
We collect your personal data in the following ways:
We may share your personal data with the following external third parties:
We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the UK. Where we transfer your personal data between the UK and the EEA those transfers are made pursuant to the UK government's adequacy decision in favour of countries in the EEA.
Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK or the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring appropriate safeguards are implemented.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you a password that enables you to access certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorised use or access.
When using the chat room or forum features of the App, please ensure that you do not submit any personal data that you do not want to be seen, collected or used by other users.
We keep your personal data only as long as we have a lawful basis to do so. When that basis no longer applies, or when you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete or anonymise it as described in the Account deletion section below. In some circumstances you may request removal of your data — see the Your legal rights section below.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately — there is no recovery period, and once it completes your account cannot be restored.
When you delete your account, we permanently erase your personal data and identity, including your profile, name, email address, authentication record, profile photo, push notification tokens, and the pregnancy, tracking, and other personal information held on your device. Files you have uploaded that identify you, including photos and videos, are deleted.
Some content you created in shared spaces — such as forum posts and comments, direct messages, and group and event chat messages — is retained so that conversations and threads other users took part in remain intact. Where we retain this content, we anonymise it: it is no longer linked to you and is attributed to a deleted user, and any photos or videos you uploaded to it are removed. In limited cases we may retain a minimal, anonymised record relating to safety and moderation (for example, where a report was made), which can no longer be tied back to you, where we have a legitimate interest in keeping it.
You may create or change your privacy preferences by editing your profile settings. You have the following rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data:
You can exercise any of these rights at any time by contacting us at hello@bambino.so.
